Overview

Perimeter Security Partners (PSP) is looking for a detail-oriented Submittal Coordinator to support multiple construction Project Managers by performing routine submittal development. The Submittal Coordinator is responsible for using templates to tailor common plan submittals, maintaining a database of product data, and obtaining information from vendors and internal engineering resources to complete submittals. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and leverage tools to efficiently execute similar tasks will be critical to the success in this role. This role reports directly to the Senior Project Manager but will require close collaboration with the Preconstruction Coordinator and multiple Project Managers. Responsibilities

Prepare project-specific preconstruction submittals: Safety plans Quality Control plans Lift plans Waste Management plans Environmental plans Prepare project-specific material submittals, including product data and shop drawings Prepare periodic construction submittals in accordance with the project reporting requirements, including inspection reports, progress photos, exposure reports, and test reports Prepare project-specific closeout submittals: Warranty Management plan O&M Manuals Training plans Test plans Warranty Tags Maintain an organized database of common submittals for use as templates and representative examples for future projects Make timely corrections and prepare revised submittals when resubmittal is required Track overall submittal requirements for each project by updating an internal company submittal register with due dates, review codes, approvals, and required resubmittals Assist the Preconstruction Coordinator with the development of plan templates for preconstruction submittals Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support or technical writing role within a professional work environment is required. An engineering, construction management, or other technical associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience in a project or construction management role is preferred. Experience with a formal submittal process is highly desired. Experience with Federal Government contracting is highly desired. Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete common tasks without direct supervision. Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple diverse tasks in support of multiple assigned projects and multiple internal customers. High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required. Must possess strong customer management skills, including professional written and verbal communication. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test that will permit access to military installations or similar controlled areas. Physical Requirements: able to sit at a computer workstation for several hours, lift up to 20 pounds, work outdoors for occasional site visits, and travel by air or up to 8 hours by car. Additional Information

Duties are generally performed in PSP’s Brentwood, TN office. Periodic (less than 10%) travel within the United States is possible but not required to project sites and other off-site meeting locations in the United States with all related expenses paid for by the company. Benefits
