Geospatial Developer

Take2 Consulting is seeking a Geospatial Developer (Mid-Level) to join a dynamic team supporting a Department of Defense program focused on mission-critical enterprise solutions. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoys turning complex geospatial challenges into elegant, integrated solutions.

Responsibilities

Integrate third-party APIs and visualization libraries (D3, Leaflet, AG Grid)

Build responsive user interfaces for geospatial and dashboard applications

Design and implement ArcGIS Dashboards and Portal applications

Configure, customize, and maintain ArcGIS Portal web maps and Story Maps

Create and publish geoprocessing services using Python/ArcPy and ArcGIS Server

Automate data processing workflows and manage enterprise geodatabases

Administer ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including Portal and Data Store

Collaborate in Agile/Kanban development cycles using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git/GitHub

Required Qualifications

Strong background in HTML/CSS front-end development

Experience designing and building ArcGIS Dashboards, Story Maps, and Portal applications

Proven ability to work in agile development environments

DoD 8570 compliant Security+ or CISSP certification required before contract start

Preferred Qualifications

Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise

Strong understanding of ArcGIS Server performance optimization and service management

Experience developing Python/ArcPy geoprocessing tools and ETL workflows

Familiarity with information security best practices in DoD environments

Knowledge of D3.js, Leaflet, and AG Grid visualization libraries
