BASIC DESCRIPTION: This position will be a key technical position to assist engineering in the development and support of new and current products with engine-driven welding systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform all engineering tests including V-A curves, heat tests, reliability, and third party. Work closely with Miller's Third-Party Certification Coordinator to construct, revise, and keep current third-party reports such as CSA, CE, CCC. Diagnose and correct issues arising in units from production builds, lab, and reliability tests. Identify, communicate, and resolve production line product issues. Occasionally manage small projects. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2-year technical degree in electronics, electro-mechanical or related field. Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and the ability to repair circuit boards to the component level. Proficient mechanical skills. Team player with a positive attitude, high motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills. Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Omnify, and Macola.
