Inspire clients to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money; build client relationships that grow stronger each year. Serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, and receive advanced tax training to be successful. Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email). Prepare complete and accurate tax returns. Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Provide clients with IRS support and, where applicable, tax notice services or audit representation per certification level. Mentor and support teammates. Qualifications and requirements
Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment (Tax Knowledge Assessment1). Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax; experience completing individual returns and in a fast-paced environment. Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership). 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax. Experience conducting virtual tax interviews; comfortable working with virtual tools (video, phone, and chat). Experience with tax planning and audit support. Sales and/or marketing experience. Educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent or higher. Must complete continuing education requirements and meet IRS and applicable state requirements. Company and role specifics
