Role Description Seeking highly motivated full-time or part-time professionals for the role of a Real Estate Broker at Coldwell Banker Kaiser Real Estate located in Carmel, Indiana. We offer a proven track record of training and molding brand-new agents into All-Star Brokers, with an extensive premier training program and a mentorship program guided by the Managing Broker and experienced agents. If you are not currently licensed, ask us about our pre-licensing reimbursement program and our premier training program. The role involves providing professional listing services, buyer\'s representation, client relocation assistance, and handling national real estate referrals. Day-to-day tasks include showing properties, managing client files, prospecting for new clients, coordinating vendors and contractors to fix and maintain properties, making advertising and marketing decisions, and coordinating future relocations. Qualifications Must be highly motivated and hardworking Customer service and sales skills are a plus Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and remotely Bachelor\'s degree or professional experience Active Indiana Real Estate License Join the Broker Listing Cooperative (MIBOR) Maintain good standing with the NAR, IAR and MIBOR How to Become a Licensed Real Estate Broker Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. If you are a legal alien but do not have a permanent residency card (green card) or have a special circumstance, contact the Indiana Real Estate Commission (IREC) to ensure they will process your license: 317-234-3022 or email pla10@pla.in.gov. Sign up for a 90-hour real estate class and pass 3 exams with at least 75%. Real Estate Schools typically run around $450-$800. Recommended schools include Tucker School of Real Estate, Real Estate Certification Program (RECP), IBREA of Indianapolis, and more. Sign up to take the State Real Estate Exam. The cost is currently around $53, subject to change. Take your 90-hour real estate class certificate and your driver\'s license with you. Interview with real estate companies that provide substantial training and mentorship. It\'s beneficial to have a managing broker who also sells to stay current with market trends. To process your license, you will pay approximately $60 (subject to change) to the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) for paperwork and license activation. You will have one year to complete this or the commission will hold your license inactive until you decide where to place it. Join the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors (MIBOR). Expect to pay roughly $1,000 to $1,700 per year depending on join timing. Complete the application, expect email/login within ~2 days, and complete new member orientation within 90 days.
