Client Advisory and Accounting Services (CAAS) Manager
to lead a growing team focused on providing outsourced accounting and financial advisory services to small and mid-sized businesses. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for helping clients manage their operations, understand their numbers, and achieve their goals. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Active CPA license strongly preferred. 6+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or outsourced accounting services. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting platforms (e.g., Bill.com, Gusto, Xero) Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation. Ability to manage multiple client engagements and priorities simultaneously. Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions. Ability to identify and recommend process improvements and advisory opportunities. Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of CAAS clients, acting as their primary contact and trusted advisor. Oversee and review accounting functions such as month-end close, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and budgeting. Lead client onboarding and implementation of outsourced accounting processes and systems. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to help clients grow and improve profitability. Review and interpret financial results with clients on a regular basis. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of services in compliance with client expectations and firm standards. Supervise and mentor staff accountants and senior associates, promoting technical development and client service skills. Coordinate with tax and audit teams to support integrated client service delivery. Stay current on accounting standards, technology trends, and advisory best practices.
