Our Client, a Manufacturing and Distribution Facilities company, is looking for an UI/UX Designer for their Ada, MI location.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience in UX/UI Design Experience providing UX Deliverables to Agile Product Teams with support from other Designers or Design Leads, including: Wireframes, User Flows, Journey Maps. Ability to create Low Fidelity Mockups, High Fidelity Visual Designs, and Interactive Prototypes Proficient in at least one Product Design Tool: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc (Figma is our tool of choice.) Comfortable working with a design team to review designs and co-create. Passion for learning and growing their design skillset. Appetite for learning and growing your design skills Ability to take design feedback in stride and apply it to works in progress Understand user driven design for the user's experience in digital experiences You enjoy collaborative problem solving with a technology team. You can bring the voice of the customer/business owner to the table to inform product decisions Ability to empathize with customers and needs of personas within these broader groups Can draw connections between customer needs and design solutions Ability to collaborate and be flexible with your product team regarding design solutions, design requirements, and time frames You have a natural curiosity about human behavior and a data driven decision making mindset Comfortable creating prototypes for testing and illustration purposes Equally comfortable developing and communicating a point of view on experience and visual design Familiar with universal design patterns for responsive web and mobile applications. Experience handing off designs to development and ensuring the UI quality of the final product Functional understanding of coding and ability to converse with engineering teams Ability to interpret and drive business needs and user data into actionable experience changes Ability create wireframes, design layouts, design components Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies Analyzing experience performance and determining design optimizations Why Should You Apply?
