Desktop Support Specialist

$20.00 (W2)

Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to perform tasks related to repairing a variety of technology-based products in an end-user computing environment. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE 3+ years of experience in basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities in an end-user environment, including PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. Desktop Support Responsibilities
Provide support to client-identified VIPs
Respond to change management requests including installing new PC equipment, providing end-user desk-side support, and related activities
3+ years experience performing Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) activities
Perform all assigned desk-side support activities
Demonstrate outstanding technical and professional services skills at all times
Meet established customer service satisfaction levels and other operational/customer service metrics
Proactively communicate with end-users and service desk personnel regarding arrival times, repair time estimates, and status
Understand and follow all documented service operations policies and procedures
Requirements
Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
3+ years experience with relevant software and hardware systems
Understanding of ITIL methodologies
A+ certification is desired
