Amrize . Performs various tasks associated with the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power and control systems. What You'll Accomplish
Troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of electrical equipment throughout the cement plant (example: instrumentation circuits, motor control circuits up to 13.8 kilovolts, low and medium voltage drives, monitoring analyzers) Assist/conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment Schematic reading and instrumentation calibration Digital and analog PLC programming used in troubleshooting Low and medium voltage cable routing, splicing, and terminating Basic mechanical activities (non-critical welding, laser alignment) Perform walk-by inspections and diagnostic checks Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities Work with contractor personnel Participates in formal and on-the-job training programs to acquire/broaden technical and non-technical job skills; cross-training activities Other duties as assigned Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED Additional Education:
2 years technical college in a related subject preferred Required Computer and Software Skills:
Effective computer and systems skills Travel Requirements:
Minimal Additional Requirements: 2-4 years industrial experience required; equivalent education may be considered General knowledge of electrical theory including electrical safety theory is required High degree of accuracy and mathematical ability The ability to operate electrical test equipment Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved PPE, including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass fit tests What We Offer
