We are seeking a highly experienced Level 4 Zscaler Administrator to design, deploy, and manage Zscaler security solutions across our enterprise environment. This role involves advanced configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking and security protocols and a proven ability to integrate Zscaler with other enterprise security tools. Responsibilities:

Zscaler Administration: Lead the design, deployment, and management of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) to achieve a Zero Trust architecture and principles to ensure secure access to network resources and mitigate potential risks. Configure and optimize Zscaler policies, including access control, URL filtering, App Segmentation, and threat prevention. Monitor and troubleshoot Zscaler performance issues using advanced diagnostic tools included but not limited to ZDX. Networking & Security: Maintain and optimize secure connectivity between users and applications, leveraging Zscaler’s Zero Trust Exchange. Collaborate with network and security teams to implement Zscaler solutions with existing enterprise infrastructure. Ensure compliance with Enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. Apply DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide) to maintain compliance with security standards for government and military environments. Support lower level Zscaler Administrators in their job function to optimize Zscaler security solutions to provide secure internet access and ensure seamless remote user protection. Perform regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening to identify and address potential risks. Integration & Automation: Integrate Zscaler with Identity Providers (IdPs) such as Azure AD and Okta. Leverage APIs to automate policy updates, reporting, and monitoring. Work closely with DevOps teams to enhance Zscaler capabilities through scripting and automation. Incident Management: Respond to and resolve escalated incidents related to Zscaler solutions. Analyze logs and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues. Provide expert guidance during audits and security assessments. Training & Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Train internal teams on Zscaler best practices and usage. Requirements:

9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Master’s in related field; 4 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7–10+ years of experience in IT/network security, with at least 3–5 years specializing in Zscaler administration. Expert-level knowledge of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). In-depth understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, IPsec, etc.). Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and Zscaler integration. Preferred Requirements:

Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator (ZCCA-IA, ZCCA-PA). Zscaler Certified Expert (ZCE). Additional certifications in networking and security (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CEH). Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk for log analysis and monitoring. Strong scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell) for automation and API integration. Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management. Physical Requirements:

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
