Emergency Roadside Tech Commercial Tire - East Walpole, MA Pay and benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Responsibilities
Respond to tire-related failures and dispatch to customer locations to repair or change tires on semi-truck fleets. Perform roadside tire service; when not on service calls, assist with mounting orders, shop organization, and other general duties as needed. Mount, dismount, and repair tires; perform match mounting and match-mating dual assemblies; ensure radial runout is within specifications. Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements; comply with OSHA regulations and safety policies; wear proper PPE and follow all safety procedures. Protect company assets and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications
Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements; must be at least 21 years of age; legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future. Basic qualification: High School Diploma or GED preferred; previous commercial service tire experience is preferred but not required. Schedule and on-call
There is a mandatory on-call rotation. Technicians are expected to handle after-hours service calls, including weekends and nights, with a 95% acceptance rate. Time worked on after-hours service calls is paid at double time, with a minimum of 2 hours per call. Example: a call completed in 45 minutes yields an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay.
