Adventist Rehabilitation - Rockville Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation seeks to hire an experienced Food Service Worker II for our Rehabilitation Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Prepare food items for the cafeteria for general and therapeutic diets Work collaboratively with peers, visitors, patients, management team, and other hospital staff Perform job duties 100% every day, every shift for optimal productivity Perform sanitation duties as assigned in dish room Assemble prepared foods on trays with accuracy Ensure food products are produced in a timely manner under appropriate food safety guidelines As needed, prepare food on time by following standardized recipes 100% of the time at the correct temperature and accurately documents time and temperature Maintain sanitation for area utilization Responsible for HAACP and food safety Communicate proactively to direct supervisor to ensure superior outcomes are met on a daily basis Attend in-service training to obtain knowledge of menus/ food and physical safety Attend departmental meetings, department training and complete mandatory Learning & Performance Suite training Respect cultural, ethnic, and religious food preferences Be a good steward of AHC’s resources by not wasting time or materials Respect customers, peers and supervisory staff Qualifications

High school or GED required Food Handlers Certification preferred 1 – 2 Years hospital food service experience preferred Strong customer service skills Able to handle a multitask environment Must be able to read and speak English required Work Schedule

Full Time: First Shift 6am - 2:30pm or 6:30am - 3pm (Majority of Shifts) Second Shift 10am - 6:30pm (Two shifts/week and alternating weekends) Pay Range

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $23.48 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process. Classification
