About the Role We are looking for Commercial Drone/UAS Pilots within the United States to join our Telecom vertical. While we have projects all over the US, the majority of the work is located on the East Coast (specifically within the Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC areas) as well as within Montana, Wyoming, and Texas. In this 1099 role you will receive a Statement of Work (SOW) with assets to be collected. We’ll train you on the required shot list for each Statement of Work. There are approximately 5 specified shots for each designated distribution pole above conductor height. You are paid per pole inspected.
Responsibilities
Operate drone to conduct inspections of transmission and distribution utility assets
Ensure safe and efficient data collection as well as successful upload of all collected data
Follow Zeitview’s standardized workflows and defined safety practices
Maintain an unwavering commitment to professionalism while representing Zeitview in the field
Required Qualifications
FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Certificate
Valid Driver’s License
A willingness to learn and be a productive member of a safety conscious, professional team environment is essential
An operational personal vehicle that meets basic professional standards or be willing to provide an adequate rental
Able to pass pre‑employment drug screening and background check
Safety conscious mindset
Able to lift 50 pounds
Minimum Equipment Requirements
DJI Mavic 3 Pro/Cine/Enterprise or Skydio X10 (equipment can be provided by Zeitview for a fee)
