Jr. Account Manager
8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary Range:
$46,000 - $52,000
What We’re Looking For We are currently seeking a
Junior Account Manager
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing day-to-day operational tasks that ensure smooth property management operations. By managing recurring responsibilities, the Junior Account Manager allows the Senior Account Manager to focus on escalated issues, owner relationships, and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with the Senior Account Manager to support the execution of day-to-day property management activities.
Conduct move-out inspections and periodic property inspections, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.
Partner with the Property Services team to request and track rent-ready scopes of work following tenant move-outs.
Prepare and distribute property management and performance reports to owners in a clear and timely manner.
Monitor and review the status of work orders and inspections, providing updates to operations staff and ensuring tasks remain on schedule.
Manage and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 owner inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the Senior Account Manager.
Review tenant delinquency on a daily basis and provide the Senior Account Manager with a weekly progress summary.
Track tenant lease renewals daily, delivering weekly status reports to the Senior Account Manager.
Review rent-ready scopes collaboratively with the Senior Account Manager to ensure accuracy and alignment with owner expectations.
Stay informed on property management software (PMS) updates; implement new features, upgrades, and process improvements as directed.
Ensure AppFolio property and owner profiles are complete and accurate, verifying that all onboarding form data has been properly entered and updated in the system.
Assist with other duties as needed to maintain smooth and effective departmental operations
Qualifications & Skills
Property Management Experience (Preferred):
Prior experience in annual or multifamily property management, leasing, or maintenance coordination is highly desirable but not required.
Customer Service Mindset:
Able to professionally communicate with tenants, vendors, and owners—balancing empathy with firmness.
Conflict Resolution Skills:
Comfortable managing difficult conversations, enforcing lease terms, and resolving tenant issues calmly and professionally.
Task-Oriented & Organized:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and documentation efficiently.
Problem-Solving Ability:
Proactive thinker who can troubleshoot common property management and tenant issues without constant supervision.
Technology Proficiency:
Experience or comfort learning software platforms like AppFolio, Zinspector, LeadSimple etc.
Dependability:
Reliable, accountable, and takes ownership of tasks—follows through to completion.
Team Player:
Works closely with the Senior Account Manager and supports broader company operations when needed.
Work Ethic & Hustle:
Driven to perform, meet deadlines, and handle fast-paced, high-demand work environments.
Initiative:
Doesn’t wait to be told what to do—actively looks for ways to support the Senior Account Manager and improve workflows.
