Act as a liaison between our sales team and our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Sales Account Executive specializing in seafood sales, you should showcase excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should also act proactively to address clients’ needs and facilitate the sales process from beginning to end. Ultimately, you should contribute to an increase in sales and maintain our company-client relationships at a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.

Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.

Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns.

Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.

Coordinate with customers to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times, by greeting and directing customer requests.

Provide accurate information (e.g., product features, pricing, and after-sales services).

Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing decisions.

Manage existing customers’ accounts receivable, merchandise returns, and related services.

Inform customers about discounts and special offers, and stay updated on new products/services.

Increase sales by studying market trends and gaining full knowledge of products and services.

Manage accounts receivable and increase gross profit.

Create regular reviews and reports with sales and financial data.

Ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations.

Participate in exhibitions or conferences on behalf of the company.

Negotiate and close deals, handle complaints or objections.

Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.

Gather customer or prospect feedback and share with internal teams.

Establish new accounts by calling on existing or potential sales outlets and assisting with account opening documents.

Submit orders based on price lists and product information.

Maintain good relationships with customers for long-term business.

Troubleshoot issues with customers.

Adjust sales presentation content based on the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas.

Report activity and results regularly, including daily call reports, work plans, and territory analyses.

Track own expenses such as mileage, parking, and toll fees.

Perform other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role.

Remarkable sales experience in the food industry, specializing in seafood.

Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Japanese is required.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office.

Passionate about healthy, organic, fair trade, and sustainable foods.

Ability to regularly visit existing and potential customers, manage pricing, and monitor credit terms.

Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.

Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiation techniques.

Fast learner with a passion for sales.

Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

Aptitude for delivering attractive presentations.

High school diploma required.

Experience in market and cultural dealings.
