Our client is a mid sized printing and packaging company with 6 facilities throughout the US manufacturing folding cartons, rigid packaging, paper products and labels. They have commercial printing capabilities as well. The VP of Sales will oversee a team out of Los Angeles including 5 Sales Reps. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will lead and impact the growth and performance of the sales teams as well as develop strong client partnerships. The VP of Sales has these key Responsibilities: Direct and support the regional sales team to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets. Cultivate a cooperative and high-performing sales environment focused on delivering exceptional client experiences. Collaborate with operations leadership to guide pricing strategies, prioritize key accounts, and drive sustainable growth. Champion the use of Salesforce CRM to enhance sales processes and data-driven decision-making. Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to sales team members through personalized and group training. Oversee the creation and management of sales budgets, forecasts, and performance indicators. Strengthen relationships with current clients while actively seeking and securing new business opportunities. Gather and communicate client feedback to inform strategic planning and business development. Serve as the sales department's representative in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. Lead training initiatives and offer strategic direction to both sales and customer service teams. The VP of Sales should have the following qualifications: Extensive knowledge of printing and packaging sales, with the ability to apply technical and administrative expertise across diverse sales environments. (Highly Preferred) Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience, or a proven combination of leadership and sales success. Demonstrated track record in packaging and/or printing sales with expertise in revenue growth, margin improvement, and market share expansion. Strong client relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience leading and motivating high-performing sales teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred). Strategic problem solver with the ability to adapt to evolving business conditions.
