COD faculty are committed to facilitate and support student success in learning and meet the individual educational needs of our unique, multicultural campus. The successful adjunct candidate will be committed to teaching in a multicultural environment and welcome the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning abilities. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days, evenings and weekends.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, including face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats.
Student evaluation and timely, accurate submission of required instruction paperwork.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training, and tested experience.
Professional degree in Architecture (Masters‑Arch or Bachelors‑Arch) or Architecture license.
Ability to teach remotely with technology; experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
Access to personal technology and a home computer with the appropriate ability to teach online.
These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments. A pre‑employment background check at the College’s expense is required.
