Key Responsibilities: Deliver instruction according to an approved syllabus using effective teaching methods; develop lesson plans; advise and tutor students; maintain attendance and grade records; participate in faculty meetings, seminars, and training sessions. Serve as an educator, role model, mentor, and facilitator. Focus on facilitating student learning aligned with course and program outcomes. Participate in assessment activities to ensure students meet learning goals. Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years of occupational experience in the relevant field. Recent direct patient care experience within the last five years, which can be met by: One year of full-time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse in the designated area, OR One academic year of registered nurse clinical teaching or equivalent demonstrating clinical competency. Experience teaching courses related to registered nursing or completion of a post-baccalaureate course with clinical practice. Training in educational methods, testing, and evaluation, with evidence of effective instructional techniques within 30 days of starting. Experience with online learning management systems is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Education: Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution, including coursework in nursing, education, or administration, with relevance to nursing practice. Licenses/Certifications: Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in California. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Salary Range: USD $47.33 - USD $68.61 per hour.
