The Human Resources offices for both campuses are on the West Campus, Building K, Suite 111. Job Summary

The Lecturer\'s primary focus is teaching undergraduate biological science classes including, but not limited to general biology (majors and non-majors), anatomy & physiology 1 & 2, microbiology, or other courses as directed by the department chair with a standard teaching load of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Responsibilities

Teach both introductory and advanced level courses, prepare and deliver lectures in face-to-face and online environments, lead and moderate classroom discussions, and administer and grade examinations. Demonstrate excellence in teaching and commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process. Advise and mentor students and participate in campus events. Post daily office hours available for student advisement. Serve on committees and fulfill leadership tasks within the Department and College. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Master\'s degree in Biology or a Master\'s degree in a related STEM area with 18 credit hours in Biology. 6 months to a year of applicable teaching experience at the collegiate level. Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate degree in Biology or related areas (preferred). Expertise in Human Anatomy/Physiology or Principles of Biology. Proposed Salary

Salary range is from $46,400 to $55,000. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Knowledge and experience of teaching, mentoring and assessing biology students at undergraduate levels. Skills:
