This range is provided by Pasadena Unified School District. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range : $6,000.00/yr - $6,000.00/yr Pasadena Unified School District serves the communities of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. The area is prominent for its numerous historical landmarks as well as the Rose Bowl Stadium and Tournament of Roses. Awarded High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or higher. Note: All foreign degrees must be accompanied with certified equivalency from an agency accredited by the United States Department of Education. Six months of experience working with children ages 5-14. Advanced education options described: an Associate (AA) degree or completion of 48 college semester units or 72 college quarter units, or education beyond an AA degree, or pass a formal Pasadena Unified School District academic assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in teaching, reading, writing and mathematics or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness. Special License or Language Skills: Possession of current CPR and First Aid certificates from an approved training program, or must obtain them within sixty (60) calendar days from date of hire. Other Requirements: Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting) and must possess current TB Test.
