Job Summary
Instruct students in the fundamental skills of dance. Create an environment conducive to personal development through observation, evaluation, emphasizing teamwork, and providing guidance. Develop specific drills and practice activities to enhance team performance, including exercises, game plans, and training rules. Motivate students academically and in performances. Maintain a positive school and team image. Participate in sporting trips and events beneficial to the team and school.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years of age
Knowledge of sport/activity rules and regulations
Experience as an athlete and/or coach
Work closely with the Head Coach
Ability to motivate, teach, and lead
Energetic, responsible, dependable, self-motivated, punctual
Excellent public relations skills; effective with staff, parents, and administration
Experience working with teens; willingness to supervise trips, camps, and competitions

TCSD Extracurricular Salary Schedule. Seasonal employment; stipend paid at the end of each season (December, March, June). Not benefit-eligible.
