Overview
The member frontline cashier is a role at Sam’s Club/Walmart focused on delivering friendly, efficient service at the front end. You may be the first, last, or only associate a member interacts with. The pace can be fast, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during holidays. You may need to juggle several tasks while assisting members, including scanning items, processing payments, and maintaining a clean area. Responsibilities
Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members Provide exceptional customer service across the club as needed and answer member questions Assist members with payments and transactions (registers or self-checkout) and ensure a neat, member-ready area Contribute to a safe and organized environment by following safety and operational procedures Assist with locating merchandise, promoting products and services, and guiding members with self-service technology Zoning the area and organizing merchandise to support efficient service Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, communicating progress, and adapting to change Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Customer service experience, retail experience including operating front-end equipment (cash register), and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mobile retail applications and general retail knowledge Pay, Benefits & Perks
