Position Overview The Sales Manager will lead and execute the sales strategy for JEM’s antenna products and services, managing sales, driving new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities in key markets.
Key Responsibilities
Execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the antenna product line.
Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and expand the company’s customer base.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics and locate new growth areas.
Manage, motivate, and mentor a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs, system integrators, and end-users.
Serve as main point of contact for major accounts, addressing customer needs and concerns.
Negotiate and close high-value contracts with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Track and report on sales performance, including revenue, lead conversion rates, and KPIs.
Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
Maintain up-to-date CRM data and use it for tracking sales progress.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns.
Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to integrate customer feedback into product development.
Support the customer service and technical support teams in resolving product-related issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in sales with a strong background in antennas, telecommunications, or electronics.
Experience managing a sales team and driving results in a technical sales environment.
Strong knowledge of antenna technology, product applications, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
Many positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with global antenna markets and international sales.
Experience working with government and defense contracts.
Technical background or engineering knowledge related to antenna systems and RF technologies.
