JOB TITLE: CLUB DIRECTOR DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS REPORTS TO: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT POSITION TYPE: Part Time Responsibilities

Directs and manages overall daily operations of the designated Club with a primary focus on programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations, and membership administration. Establish Unit or Branch programs, activities and services that prepare youth for success and create a club environment that facilitates Youth Development Outcomes. Maintain a healthy and safe environment; ensure facilities, equipment and supplies are maintained. Maintain daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members and supervisor to communicate information, discuss issues, explain or interpret guidelines, and advise/counsel. Engage with external community groups, schools, members’ parents, and others to assist in resolving problems as needed. Strategic Planning: plan, develop, implement and evaluate Club programs and activities to meet objectives and member needs; compile required regular reports on activities, attendance and participation. Compliance & Grants: ensure operations comply with organizational policies, grant deliverables, and partner requirements; track and submit program data and documentation for funding and compliance purposes. Resource Management: assist in developing annual budgets and control expenditures against budget. Operations: maintain administrative and operational systems for Club facilities and equipment. People Management: recruit, manage and develop staff and volunteers; conduct regular staff meetings. Partnership Development: build partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations. Marketing and Public Relations: enhance visibility of programs and activities within the school Club and the community. Other Responsibilities: purchase supplies and equipment; support staff on special events; supervise and address member issues according to guidance and discipline plans; may drive Club vehicles; participate in fundraising events. Position Requirements

This position is Part Time. Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience; leadership role for 2+ years preferred. Minimum of five years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on youth development needs, or equivalent experience. Valid State Driver’s License Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test Experience working with children and knowledge of youth development Demonstrated ability to work with young people, parents and community leaders Ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff Ability to address member discipline problems effectively Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management Strong organization, time management skills and ability to set priorities Strong work ethic, positive attitude, high energy and flexibility Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail Knowledge of compliance standards and ability to follow grant requirements and reporting processes Strong attention to detail with documentation, data accuracy, and meeting deadlines Ability to manage multi-faceted projects alongside day-to-day activities Position Qualifications
