Prepare and file customs entries accurately and timely in accordance with U.S. CBP regulations. Review import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.) to ensure compliance and accuracy. Classify goods according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). Communicate with customers, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve entry-related issues. Maintain compliance with all federal import regulations, policies, and procedures. Monitor shipments to ensure smooth clearance and delivery. Maintain accurate records of all entry filings. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and offering guidance on customs regulations. Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Customs Entry Writer or in a similar customs compliance role. CargoWise experience is required. Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and import procedures. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Seniority level
