The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance and repairs of Sandvik drills and other equipment at remote sites, minimizing downtime and ensuring proper maintenance. Ability to work independently with limited supervision is essential. Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair Sandvik, John Henry, and other equipment Maintain and service equipment Coordinate maintenance with Shop Foreman Keep repair records as directed Inspect equipment and communicate repair needs Procure and manage shop supplies and parts Train apprentice mechanics and oilers Organize shop facilities and support infrastructure Promote safety and compliance Maintain CDL with hazmat endorsement Must be able to work weekends, with weekly hours possibly exceeding 60. Other duties as assigned. Reporting and Travel
This position reports to the Shop Foreman and coordinates with the Project Superintendent. Travel to remote sites may be required. Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, manipulate objects, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, see, hear, and work in outdoor conditions Lift and move 50+ pounds occasionally Pass pre-employment drug screening and PAT Use PPE and have own tools Education and Certifications
Relevant college, trade school, or experience preferred Certifications as applicable Additional Preferences
