Sunstates Security is currently hiring for a
FLEX/Utility Security Officer
in the Hodges, SC area. This position requires
OPEN AVAILABILITY
for
ALL SHIFTS
and
ALL DAYS . Starting pay of
$20/hr
with weekly pay.
Responsibilities The Unarmed Utility is an on-call Unarmed Officer position that covers posts as needed that are open due to call offs, staff shortages or client requested extra coverage. (Must have open Availability)
Maintain detailed notes on all sites they train to provide seamless service to the clients when they must cover that post.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Keep track of time for post worked and submit to Operations manager no later than 10am on Friday.
Quality & Expectations Come to work whether called in or scheduled in advance; be on time and complete shift assignments (including overtime, if assigned). Refusal to accept assignments may result in:
Failure to receive sufficient hours per week.
Removal from the UTILITY program.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance and come to work in a complete and clean assigned uniform.
Must not smoke on any assigned post.
Have a friendly and professional demeanor and provide quality customer service.
Be a good communicator (verbal and written) and capable of handling typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
Understand and successfully execute post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules and regulations.
Report all concerns to management noted on sites assigned.
Qualifications Must have a clean driving record if assigned to a driving post.
Generally: 1 year or more of Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience. (Manager Discretion)
Basic computer skills and cell phone literacy
Good to excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to provide and deliver quality customer service
Ability to make good decisions (judgement and common sense)
Financial / mathematical aptitude
Ability to work a Flexible schedule and to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as requested
(Open availability is a must!!)
Reliable transportation to get to work site.
Well-motivated, able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Must maintain reliable means of communication to be contacted by management
Education & Certification Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Certification: PPSB License
