The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served, helping them explore, create, and meet their recovery goals. They provide consultation to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture, as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS), respecting each member's point of view and preferences. Additionally, they respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment during emergencies related to mental health or addiction challenges. Full-Time; AM | 8:30 am - 5:00 pm | Tuesday - Saturday Compensation
Expected starting wage range is $21.00 - $22.52. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges based on the location from which the role is performed. Starting pay depends on relevant experience above the minimum requirements. What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
High School Diploma or GED required Peer Certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment California: obtain Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA prior to hire and maintain it throughout employment One (1) year or part-time equivalent supporting members with behavioral health challenges Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver Willingness to use personal or company vehicle to drive clients and attend meetings What's In It For You
