We’re looking for a dynamic and empowering Sales Development Manager responsible for building and leading a team of enterprise ADRs. The role emphasizes leadership, development, and fostering a high-performance culture to achieve our rapid sales goals.
This role offers a hybrid working model based in our Austin office long-term.
The Opportunity
In this role, your core priorities will be Talent Development & Revenue Development. Our Account Development Representatives are viewed as the next wave of Account Executives at MongoDB. As a Sales Development leader, you will hire outstanding talent, identify skill gaps, hold reps accountable, and help develop them into AEs. You will also collaborate with regional sales leaders to uncover new opportunities, unlock new territories, and drive revenue into our pipeline. Day to Day
Attract, hire, retain, and develop talent Provide coaching and mentoring based on a deep understanding of sales and our business model Participate in prospect qualification and discovery calls/meetings Provide weekly team performance summaries and accurate forecasts to senior management Collaborate cross-functionally to establish scalable lead management processes Develop and oversee KPIs, supervise team activity, and drive execution based on metrics Work closely with Field and Inside Sales management to enhance performance and align pipeline production Invest in personal development to succeed in your role and prepare for future opportunities What You Will Bring to the Table
2+ years prospecting and closing as an individual contributor 2+ years leadership experience with a proven track record in hiring and developing talent Experience in complex enterprise software sales Open source software sales experience is a plus Excellent communication skills and credibility across all organizational levels Proven top performer with results-oriented achievements Experience with sales methodologies Things We Love
