Overview
The Independent Cleaning Contractor (IC) is responsible for hands-on cleaning at commercial accounts. Once the account is mastered, you may assist in the management and supervision of the daily operations of new cleaning staff you train and bring on board, and perform the duties of cleaners in their absence. Duties and Responsibilities
Learn the account requirements and ensure proper work coverage. Perform work scope as an Independent contractor, including duties such as trash removal, dusting, disinfecting, mopping, sweeping, backpack carpet vacuuming, servicing restrooms, client supply inventory management, window washing, carpet cleaning, mechanical scrubber use, and cleaning production time estimation. Identify problems, resolve issues, and provide recommendations to 360clean office staff, cleaning staff, and/or customer contact to support continuous quality improvement. Address customer concerns and inquiries, and report new or changing job/work orders. Ensure approved supplies and equipment are provided (own equipment and cleaning chemicals); maintain and repair tools, including backpack vacuum cleaners, mops/buckets, mop heads, and microfiber cloths. Ensure proper chemical labeling, dilution, and storage in accordance with company, customer, and OSHA standards. Provide on-the-job training for helper cleaners on job-specific tasks. Support effective communication and distribution of information to customers and helper cleaners. Carry out management responsibilities in line with company policies, customer rules, and applicable laws when needed. Assist with administrative tasks involving custodial personnel and facilities as directed. Coordinate, assign, and inspect the work of custodial staff; review and revise custodial task assignments; provide guidance and training as needed. Coordinate regular and substitute cleaning team member staffing. Develop and implement 360clean JaniMed custodial cleaning procedures, routines, and training as necessary. Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License Minimum 1 – 3 years of Commercial Cleaning or Cleaning Supervisor experience; Medical Facility or Hospital Cleaning experience is a plus Must pass a background check Ability to work unsupervised and verify your own work Excellent interpersonal communication skills; sales skills are a plus We Offer
