Early Career Researchers - Computational Associate I, Broad-wide openings at Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. This entry-level role provides exposure to infrastructure, data analysis, and collaboration with scientists, clinicians, and experimental experts. The position is designed to prepare candidates for advanced study or research careers at Broad over time. We fill entry level Computational Associate positions year round. Write and refine scripts to process and analyze large datasets while exploring new methods for data analysis. Conceive, implement, and test statistical models. Contribute to the development and improvement of analytical tools. Interface and collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and experimental experts at the Broad and with external partners. Learn to troubleshoot with support from a mentor to resolve problems and ensure data quality control. Join regular lab meetings, contribute to team discussions, support broader research goals, and potentially contribute to publications. Minimum Qualifications

At least a current undergraduate senior with an expected graduation date around December 2025 or May 2026. Majored in computational biology, mathematics, statistics, physics, bioinformatics, computer science, or a similar field. At least 1 year of undergraduate independent research experience (outside of coursework). Strong programming skills and experience with Python or R. Ability to commit to staying with the Broad for at least two years. Additional Programs

Candidates interested in the Broad Biomedical Post-Baccalaureate Scholars Program (BBPS) should complete an ECR application to begin the process. BBPS details and deadlines are available separately; BBPS admissions are independent of the ECR hiring process.
