Onsite Interpreters
in the
Louisville, Kentucky
area who have a sincere desire to use their language skills to help people and are passionate about what they do. Responsibilities
Provides consecutive in-person and virtual interpretation (phone and video remote) for first-person interactions. Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio Language Services clients. Follows all Propio Language Services policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics. Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and/or regulatory requirements or policies and standards. Establishes and maintains quality service and positive interactions with patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical staff. Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various client needs (medical, legal, social services, etc.). Qualifications
Submission of an updated resume in English at time of application. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Intermediate level computer skills. Access to reliable transportation. Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations as required by location, regulations, and business policies (e.g., TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B or declination, TDAP, Seasonal Influenza, COVID). Successful completion of a drug test and background check & security screen. A signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance. Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of interpreting experience.
