Surgery Imaging Coordinator Part Time Days – Join us at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital, proudly serving the community with patient-centered care and a collaborative team of healthcare professionals. This role supports the neurosurgery team with imaging for brain and spine cases, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to operate safely and, when possible, with minimally invasive techniques. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with an on-call requirement of 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 2-3 days per week, including holidays and weekends. Responsibilities

Operate radiology, fluoroscope, and navigational equipment (Brainlab, Medtronic Stealth, Medtronic AxiEm, O-Arm, Z-Kat, Leo, C-Arm, plain films) to support neuro and spine cases. Collaborate with physicians in planning images for case development and support. Move equipment into ORs as needed and return to cores when done for the day. Produce images of optimal quality for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Maintain documentation to ensure all technical data is entered timely and accurately. Notify management and address equipment malfunctions promptly. Provide instruction and mentoring to RRTs in the radiology department who will perform these duties during PTO. Monitor patient priority and assist in developing the plan of care with the surgical team. Minimum qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RT(ARRT)), in good standing. Current state licensure (Radiologic License). Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes. Strong communication with radiologists and physicians to coordinate imaging. Excellent communication skills to provide care to patients and families. Ability to function with minimal or no direct supervision. Preferred qualifications

One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist. Physical requirements

Requires standing and walking for extended periods; must lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Assist with positioning and transporting patients (beds, stretchers, wheelchairs). Ability to maneuver equipment and operate with motor coordination. Personal Protective Equipment

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment. Pay range
