Propio Language Services
provides critical interpreting and translation services that improve the quality of life within diverse communities. We offer both remote and on-site services in more than 350 languages to over 9,000 clients, supported by a highly experienced staff and over 10,000 contract interpreters. Quality interpretation is essential to our success, and we seek the best interpreters in the industry.
We currently have an opening for
Remote Contract Korean Interpreters
who are passionate about using their language skills to help others.
Contract Responsibilities:
Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
Adheres to all Propio L.S. policies regarding confidentiality and ethics.
Continuously enhances vocabulary and specialized knowledge in fields such as medical, legal, and social services.
Requirements:
Updated Resume in English at application submission.
English proficiency with a rating of “technical proficiency” (3 or higher on the ILR scale).
Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session, evaluated against 24 quality standards.
Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
Full Background Check and Security Screening.
Signed confidentiality agreement, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1 year of interpreting experience.

International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA)
California Healthcare Interpreters Association (CHIA)
