Position Summary: The College of Education at Michigan State University announces an open position in the Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies (ORDS) in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, and Special Education. This is a fixed-term appointment teaching a one-semester course. The MSU Rehabilitation Counseling programs are highly ranked nationally. We seek colleagues committed to research, teaching, and practice that enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Candidates with experience in rehabilitation counseling, psychology, counselor education, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Duties: Graduate teaching across various delivery modes in our CACREP-accredited master's and doctoral programs. Doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field. Minimum Requirements: Doctoral degree or evidence of completion prior to appointment. Experience teaching graduate courses or supervising clinical practice. At least two years of experience in rehabilitation services working with individuals with disabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Teaching and clinical skills with diverse disability populations. Ability to promote inclusive and culturally responsive practices. Experience mentoring graduate students.
