This position at the J.W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development supports the Institute’s internal and client-based research and evaluation services. Responsibilities are varied but include data collection, analysis, program evaluation, and reporting; co-drafting client-based reports, reports to the Vice President for Public Service and Outreach, and Fanning program specific, annual, and other reports. The position builds and maintains critical elements of the Institute’s data warehouse including pipelines, data extracts and transformations. The position further supports evaluating programs; building and maintaining dashboards; and conceptualizing and conducting literature reviews. Responsibilities
Build and manage critical elements of unit’s database management systems providing end-to-end data lifecycle support (export, transform, load data) for research, evaluation, and impact assessments using tools such as QuestionPro, Qualtrics, PowerBI, Microsoft Fabrics, Smartsheets, and other relevant data management software. Collaborate with unit and PSO-wide stakeholders to import and export data from systems to provide insight.
Percentage of time: 35 Coordinate with faculty to support client-related deliverables (agency/nonprofit/community) including data updates, evaluation projects, needs assessments, research, visualization materials, impact reports. Draft, finalize, deliver, and present findings and reports to clients.
Percentage of time: 30 Support all research and evaluation efforts of the institute through collection, analysis, visualization, and communication of data. Manage and support the program certification process. Conduct literature reviews; collect quantitative and qualitative data; turn data into final products; develop dashboards and written reports. Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students to draft, finalize, deliver, and present findings.
Percentage of time: 30 Work with the Research and Public Service Manager on workflow development, coordination and implementation with PSO Connect, and overall research and evaluation priorities.
