An integral member of a rehab team who believes in our mission and strives for clients to reach their best possible clinical and functional outcomes. Provide onsite athletic training services at affiliation practices, assigned games, and scrimmages. Be proficient within a rehab clinical setting, welcoming to patients, and assisting therapists with non-clinical tasks to provide high quality treatment. Ensure a clean and neat environment and perform other office duties as needed. Manage triage of athletes to physicians, physical therapy, and related programs using hands-on care and written/verbal communication. Demonstrate flexibility, as coverage needs are variable. Exhibit a strong work ethic, open-mindedness, and motivation. Position Qualifications
1 year of experience in an educational, sports, rehab, or medical-related field. Required Registration/License/Certification
BLS or HS CPR within 90 days of DOH/Transfer Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) through the Board of Certification (BOC) by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Licensed by the State of Alabama Preferred Education
Master’s in a health-related field. Preferred Experience
1 year experience in an Athletic Training role Seniority level
