Retail Store Manager – Cottonwood Mall, Albuquerque, NM
Description

Responsibilities
Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent including the store leadership team (SLT).
Set and reinforce clear performance expectations and accountability with all associates.
Own and delegate leadership tasks to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
Partner with the SLT to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
Implement and sustain floorset direction to optimize the business and bring the product story to life.
Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpretation of company directives.
Provide individual and team performance feedback and coaching.
Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.
Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.
Maintain safety standards, store appearance, and operational excellence.
All store positions require constant physical activity; associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
Proven experience delivering sales, exceptional customer experience, and operational results in a fast‑paced retail environment.
2+ years of experience in a manager role, preferably in retail.
Thrives in a customer‑first based retail environment.
Ability to foster a customer‑focused selling culture.
Passion for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Effective communication skills and adaptability.
Ability to provide in‑the‑moment coaching.
Ability to de‑escalate store and customer situations effectively.
Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education
High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
