The Landscaper
is responsible for the overall appearance of the grounds of the Community, in accordance with the Community's property policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers, shrubs, trees and foliage.
Maintain and repair tools and equipment. Purchase supplies as needed ensuring that expenditures fall within the monthly budget.
Operate powered equipment such as mowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Ensure that all powered equipment is used property and is accounted for an inaccessible to residents.
Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters and other grounds features.
Qualifications :
Prefer six (6) months of experience in the building industry, maintenance, and / or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and structural matters. Knowledge of building construction is helpful.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
