Overview

Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselor – Based in Henderson. This is a telehealth position providing remote care to Affect members, based out of the Henderson, Nevada office. This role requires onsite work from the Henderson office and involves delivering virtual individual and group counseling sessions to support recovery. About Affect

We specialize in treating substance use disorders, such as opioid use disorder, stimulant use disorders, alcohol use disorder, and cannabis use disorder. By combining mobile technology, addiction counseling, and coordinated medical care, we empower our Members to reclaim their lives in recovery. Key Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and determine appropriate level of care Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum Provide crisis support and coordinate appropriate referrals when needed Maintain timely, accurate documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system Collaborate with clinical supervisors on individualized treatment and discharge planning Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state regulations Requirements

Active and verifiable counseling licenses (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, CADC, LADC) in your state of residence, with credentials verifiable through the State Board’s website Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms Passionate about supporting individuals in recovery and building therapeutic relationships Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet The Benefits of Joining Affect
