Flex Security Officers
in the Amelia, OH area. This position offers a pay rate of
$17.51/hr, paid weekly . Benefits:
All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security. Requirements
Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work various shifts, days, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible and team oriented. 1+ years of experience in a customer service role. Exceptional report writing skills. Must be reliable. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Flex Officer Explanation
The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel. Scheduling Expectations
The Scheduling Parameters And Expectations For a Flex Officer Are Different From Those Of An Employee Assigned To a Fixed Post. As a Flex, you will: Be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need. You may work at a specific post or location for several weeks due to need, but this will not be a permanent assignment. Have a schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) that varies based on operational need. Be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs. Have some shifts scheduled in advance and posted with the new week’s schedule; some may be called on short notice to cover for others. Be expected to work any scheduled shift within your available times. If you know you will be unavailable, communicate this with your supervisor so they do not schedule you. For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. Refusing more than 20% of called shifts could impact employment status. Education & Benefits
