Sportsbook Representative (Pending Regulatory Approval) at River City Casino & Hotel. The role involves writing and paying sports wagers, handling cash, assisting guests, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations. Responsibilities
Accurately write, verify, and pay tickets for sports wagers in accordance with departmental policies and jurisdictional gaming regulations. Maintain an assigned cash bank throughout the shift, ensuring accurate handling of payments and change. Ensure sportsbook stations are fully stocked and maintained in a clean and orderly condition. Process sports wagers and payouts in a timely and precise manner. Reconcile cash bank at the end of each shift, adhering to established cash-handling procedures. Clearly explain betting lines, odds, and wagering rules to guests. Comply with Title 31 and Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) requirements. Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to guests, including information on property amenities and activities. Create and input player tracking cards. Promptly escalate guest concerns or suspicious activity to management. Perform additional duties as assigned. Maintain strict confidentiality in all company and departmental matters. Proficient cash-handling skills; minimum six (6) months of cash-handling experience Ability to work as a part of a team in a high-stress and high-volume environment and maintain attention to detail Ability to work in and adapt to a dynamic and frequently changing environment Ability to adhere to and execute established department policies and procedures Working knowledge of sports Basic math skills to calculate winnings based on odds Basic computer skills Excellent guest service skills Ability to maintain professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to department and company standards Benefits and Compensation
