The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online High School Computer Science tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys—from home.
Why Join Our Platform?
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects. You’ll also earn more for each session with the same student, up to $40/hour.
Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.

What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Expertise in High School Computer Science with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
Preference for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and/or graduate-level education.
