The Training Manager will provide full-time, on-site leadership at each Center, overseeing all training and certification activities for contract staff. This role ensures staff are effectively trained, competent in required skills, and aligned with Government policies, security protocols, and operational procedures.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated Starting Salary Range for Training Manager : Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Schedule, facilitate, and coordinate all training and certification efforts for contract personnel.

Identify skills gaps and recommend training enhancements to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Develop and implement onboarding programs, cross-training initiatives, and training updates as required by new Government policies, IT systems, or security protocols.

Collaborate with management and subject matter experts to design training materials and deliverables.

Track training progress, maintain training records, and ensure compliance with all Government training requirements.

Evaluate training effectiveness and make adjustments to meet evolving operational needs.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance staff performance and operational readiness.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in training management, instructional design, or a similar role, preferably in a government or contractor environment.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience with onboarding, cross-training, and skills gap analysis.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Ability to work on-site full-time and coordinate training across multiple staff groups.

Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
