Summary : Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service. Responsibilities
Takes orders, prepares items requiring short preparation, completes orders from steam tables, and serves customers at multiple stations.
Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring correct temperatures and appealing presentation. Tastes all prepared items.
Uses ticket-collection procedures and maintains records from area worked during service.
Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portion control.
Transport pans, kettles and trays to and from workstations safely.
Stores foods in designated areas with proper wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
Keeps work areas, equipment and utensils clean and sanitized; maintains sanitation standards.
Resolves customer concerns and reports information to supervisor.
Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management.
Performs job safely in a clean, safe environment and performs other duties as assigned.
