Soccer Shots is the premier non-competitive soccer program for children ages 2-8, centered on character development and foundational soccer skills. Our engaging curriculum aligns with CA ECE standards and delivers a world-class approach designed by professional athletes, soccer coaches and early childhood education experts.

We are looking for enthusiastic part-time coaches to lead fun and engaging sessions that motivate young athletes. Our structured curriculum and comprehensive training enable coaches to effectively foster both skill development and personal growth, ensuring an exceptional experience for every child.

After six months, 401(k) retirement plan match up to maximum allowable 6%

After twelve months, tuition reimbursement up to $1,500 for core ECE units in Child/Human Growth & Development; Child/Family/Community or Child and Family Relations; and Programs/Curriculum

Responsibilities

Lead energetic soccer sessions for children, creating a fun and engaging experience that aligns with our program's goals

Create a positive, energetic atmosphere emphasizing teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship in addition to skill-building.

Oversee all aspects of class operations, from setup and execution to breakdown

Maintain clear and timely communication with parents about their child's progress and any program updates

Represent Soccer Shots as an ambassador, upholding brand integrity both during and outside of sessions

Qualifications

Passion for teaching and working with young children

Ability to engage children in a fun and developmentally appropriate manner

Independence and leadership to lead a class of children as young as 2 years old

Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with strong communication skills

Dependability, reliability, and a positive attitude

Bonus points if you have

Experience working with children ages 2-8

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Soccer skills or coaching experience

ECE units or certification

What will the first few weeks be like?

Comprehensive training in the "Soccer Shots Way," including 20+ hours of certification and thorough background checks

Coaching sessions in preschools, elementary schools, parks, and/or community spaces

Sessions 25-45 minutes long, with a focus on soccer fundamentals and character development

*All applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, clear all required state background checks and submit TB test results.
