Touro University . Overview Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position (open rank) in our newly-established College of Osteopathic Medicine in Montana. This is an opportunity to be part of a new endeavor for the Touro University system and the state of Montana. TouroCOM Montana is located in Great Falls, MT, near the Rocky Mountain front, between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. The successful candidate will have educational experience related to Physical Diagnosis and Early Clinical Experience. Prior research experience is encouraged. The university emphasizes teaching excellence and research success, with expectations for active professional engagement. TouroCOM Montana enrolls 125 students annually. The new 100,000 sq ft campus includes classrooms, an anatomy lab, library, study rooms, and a simulation center. Partnerships with the McLaughlin Research Institute offer additional research opportunities. Similar campuses are located in Harlem and Middletown, NY, each graduating about 135 physicians annually. The candidate will support TouroCOM Montana through teaching, course administration, and supervision of medical students. Responsibilities include collaborating on curriculum development and delivery across campuses, with a primary focus on teaching excellence. Faculty are also expected to participate in administrative committees and scholarly activities. Qualifications Applicants must possess a Ph.D., D.O., M.D., or applicable terminal degree. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Potential for exceptional teaching at the medical or graduate level, research potential, and ability to work well with faculty. Excellent communication skills, relevant content and clinical expertise, and passion for osteopathic principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems is required.
