Cook . What will you be doing most days?
Prepare food for the restaurant on property, banquets, and special functions at a high quality. Properly and efficiently prepare and present all food items, accommodating special guest requests. Rotate food in walk-ins and freezers to minimize waste and spoilage. Maintain cleanliness of all food prep areas. Assist with ordering necessary food supplies as directed. Set up hot and cold line stations according to specifications. Communicate guest requests promptly and professionally. Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions immediately. Maintain safety and cleanliness of work areas at all times. Practice safe work habits to prevent injuries. Follow safety rules and handle equipment properly. Perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed. What are the requirements for this position?
Thorough knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, service techniques, and safety regulations. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to foster a positive team environment. Capacity to work under pressure and handle stressful situations. Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding role requiring standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods. Travel Requirements
Minimal to no travel outside the property and surrounding area. Pay Scale: $15.41 - $28.87/hour (dependent on state, market, and experience). This property is managed by
