The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Queensborough Community College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Lecturer to teach principles of Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics and/or Pre-Calculus. Performs teaching and related duties in area(s) of expertise. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Math Education required Preferred Qualifications : Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred. The ability to successfully teach principles of Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics and/or Pre-Calculus. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills (accessing and using college-based platforms). Previous high school or college teaching experience preferred. Compensation : $100.41 per hour.
