District Sales Manager Wholesale Sales (DSM) is responsible for overseeing all sales related to THE HOME DEPOT in an assigned market, growing top line sales, and providing leadership and management for their market. Leads and manages Wholesale sales and customer service within the market. Manage day-to-day performance and outcomes of the Area Sales & Design Specialists (ASDS) and Selling Center Design Specialists (SCDS) in the district, including KPIs. Provide on-the-ground support for sales employees to achieve lead goals; assist with the closing of large/complicated sales, including pricing in coordination with the Regional Sales Director (RSD). Train, observe, coach ASDSs and SCDSs to align selling behaviors with the Solution Based Selling Approach; conduct monthly pipeline reviews and CRM usage with ASDSs and SCDSs. With DM/GM and RSDs, recruit, hire, train, and manage all sales personnel in the District; onboard and provide ongoing training and coaching for all sales employees. Perform safety training and represent the sales team in safety committee meetings; lead sales safety meetings as required by OSHA and Tuff Shed. Manage events for local markets; build relationships with Home Depot stores and participate in joint calls with ASDSs and SCDSs. Review and address sales cancellations to prevent loss when possible; collaborate with GM/DM and Factory operations to ensure quality customer service. Manage social media review programs and follow up on irregularities; coordinate with SDCs, GM/DM and factory operations to ensure timely build scheduling and customer communication. Utilize reporting tools (JD Edwards, Business Objects, Salesforce) to monitor sales trends; provide daily/weekly sales performance reports to GM/DM, RSD and RVP. Conduct regular sales meetings with ASDSs and SCDSs; visit 1-2 Home Depot stores daily with the team. Perform other duties as assigned; be present in the market including weekends and mandatory Saturdays. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or requisite experience preferred Skills and Experience: Ability to travel the district market area, up to 50% with overnights Proven experience in B2C sales and sales management in large-ticket products Hands-on computer skills in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM software (Oracle, JDE, Onyx, Salesforce.com, Goldmine or similar) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels; strong written and verbal communications Ability to solve complex business problems with sound judgment Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in multiple formats Ability to prepare professional written correspondence and reports What’s in it for you?
